Healthy Options for Teens

Focus Forward facilitates a Teen Pregnancy Prevention and Reproductive Health Education Program for young men and women, ages 12 – 17, while incarcerated at the Juvenile Justice Campus and during their transition to the community.

The workshops are led by Health Educators from our partner Fresno Barrios Unidos and by Focus Forward community volunteers, in partnership with the Probation Department and Fresno County Office of Education. Additionally, Focus Forward staff and volunteers are trained as adult allies giving staff and volunteers the tools needed to effectively talk to the youth about reproductive health and sexually transmitted diseases.

Workshops continue as funding permits.
